Following the recent success of our themed evenings and events we are delighted to announce our forthcoming events.
Festive Season at The Bird In Hand
Our beautifully refurbished restaurant with inglenook fireplace provides a cosy setting for any Christmas event. During the festive season The Bird in Hand offers a host of Christmas activities ranging from lunches, dinners, buffets and party nights with discos. We can cater for up to 80 guests whether individual bookings or a private event. The Party Menu is available in December & January.
Farmhouse Breakfast Week
Starts Sunday January 22nd 2012. Get your day off to the best possible start with a well balanced breakfast in our dining room. Many of our dishes, including the full English breakfast, will feature ingredients that have been sourced locally.
Quiz Night
January 22nd (Sunday) It's free to enter, a bit of fun, and you might win a round of drinks. Starts 8pm.
International Food Fayre
Fri January 27th 7.30pm. This Popular event gives diners the chance to sample paella from Spain, pasta dishes from Italy, curries from India and spicy flavours from Thailand among the mouth watering cuisine served up from around the world. The Buffet Evening costs £26.95 p.p including dessert.
Blue Beatles Duo
Friday February 3rd. Live music and lots of amusing banter will be on offer when this Beatles tribute band comes to town. With many of John, Paul, George & Ringo's early rock 'n' roll hits being performed. It's sure to be a great night. Tickets must be booked in advance. £17.95 p.p including Supper.
Yorkshire Pudding Day
February 5th. Delicious Yorkshire Puds will be on the menu in a number of guises. So, whether you like yours served with a traditional roast, as Toad in the Hole, filled with Chilli or as a dessert covered with syrup, come along and enjoy.
Valentine's Dinner
February 14th. Treat your loved one to a romantic candle lit Dinner to show them how much you love them. It's cheaper than buying Roses!!
Morgan Sports Car Club
The Thames Valley Centre Morgan Sports Car Club meets at the Bird in Hand in the Evening of the 1st Thursday every Month. Amazingly this will be their 41st year at the Bird in Hand
