Country Pub Bar
Part of the bar dates back 600 years to the 14th century, when passers by stopped on their way from London, Windsor and Oxford. Situated on the A4 between Maidenhead and Reading in Berkshire, travellers can now stop to soak up the olde worlde country pub atmosphere. Oak panelling and a real Inglenook fire add to the truly traditional and cosy feel.
As CAMRA Berkshire Pub of the Year we have a constant wide variety of Real Ales and support local ales. In addition, regular beer festivals are held throughout the year with some 20 beers to try! Our Wine List of over 50 different wines also offers almost 20 by the glass, including wines from our local English vineyard, Stanlake Park in Twyford.
The relaxed atmosphere makes the bar suitable for families, couples and business people alike. With free wi-fi available you can pop in for breakfast, coffee or a pint and informal meetings. In the summer our patios and garden provide excellent areas for outside entertaining.
Open:- 7am to 11pm.
